  • United States
  • United Kingdom
  • Taiwan
  • South Korea

Early Nintendo Switch 2 Reactions Are Largely Positive, With Some Skepticism

Now that the Nintendo Switch 2 has finally been announced, players and industry professionals have been weighing in on social media. Overall, the reactions to Switch 2 have been largely positive, but some are skeptical that it’s going to be able to handle at least one of this year’s AAA games.

GameSpot’s Tamoor Hussain had an apt analogy for the Switch and its successor.

Gears of War creator Cliff Bleszinski wasn’t exactly impressed by the increased size.

Journalist Stephen Totilo argued that Nintendo made the right choice by naming the console Switch 2, which will hopefully prevent any Wii and Wii U-like confusion from happening again.

At least one user saw a silver lining in today’s announcement.

This reaction is a callback to the old school NES. Come fr…

Plants Vs. Zombies 3 Getting Major Overhaul, Will Be Delisted Soon

EA has announced a significant change for Sports betting site B Sports Plants vs. Zombies 3, confirming that the game is undergoing a “major overhaul” and will be taken offline as the developer reconfigures the game.

Plants vs. Zombies 3 had a soft-launch earlier this year, and EA said it feels grateful for the “enthusiasm and feedback” that players sent in during this early testing period. With that feedback in mind, EA said it has decided to “re-tool the game” with the aim of making an “even better” experience.

EA turned off in-app purchases for Plants vs. Zombies 3 on October 15, and the game is no longer available to download. November 15, 2024 will be the final day to play Plants vs. Zombies 3 in its current iteration. After this, server…

FIFA 22 Cross-Play Support Coming Soon To PS5, Xbox Series X, And Stadia

EA Sports has announced that it will begin testing Sports betting site B Sports cross-platform multiplayer in FIFA 22 on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and Google Stadia. No exact date beyond “the near future” has been given by EA, but the publisher did confirm that the testing will cover matches in the Online Seasons and Online Friendlies mode of the soccer game.

“While we want to enable our players to play with as many friends and others as possible, we limited the test to these two modes with the aim of reducing the chance for introducing new issues into the game,” EA Vancouver’s Goran Popovic said in an FAQ. “We are confident that the game data and feedback that we get from these two modes will help inform how cross-play could further be implemented …

Agents Of Mayhem Review

Agents of Mayhem isn’t subtle. The single-player Sports betting site B Sports action-adventure game from Saints Row developer Volition is all about being larger than life, with intense superhero-versus-supervillain combat and raunchy protagonists who drop F-bombs as much as they drop real bombs. Unfortunately, the game doesn’t offer much more than a “to the extreme” attitude, which wears out its welcome in record time thanks to incessantly recycled missions, numerous bugs, and a juvenile script that mistakes swearing for humor.

You take on the role of the titular Agents of MAYHEM (Multinational Agency for Hunting Evil Masterminds), a group of future superheroes that look and feel like the R-rated offspring of a union bet…
